Restoring Hope, One Life at a Time
Embodying God's love by restoring health, spreading the Gospel, & uplifting the Kisii people through dedicated service and faith.
Our Story: A Covenant of Care
The Heart Behind Caring for Kenya
At the intersection of faith and medicine, Caring for Kenya was born from a simple, profound calling: to be the hands and feet of Christ. We believe that true restoration involves more than just physical healing; it requires a holistic commitment to the spirit and the community.
A Partnership Across Oceans
Our mission is built on a foundational bond between two sister congregations separated by thousands of miles but united in purpose. Through a dedicated partnership between the Salem Seventh Day Baptist Church of West Virginia and the Keera Seventh Day Baptist Church of Kenya, we work as one body to serve the Kisii community.
Our Holistic Approach
We don't just visit; we partner. By combining the resources and expertise of our U.S. and Kenyan medical teams, we provide high-quality healthcare to those who need it most. Simultaneously, we walk alongside the local church to provide the Word of God and sustainable support, ensuring that our impact in Kisii remains long after our mission trips conclude.
"To embody God’s love is to serve the whole person—restoring health, uplifting the community, and sharing the hope found in the Gospel."

Caring For Kenya
The Road to 2027: Return to Kisii
Following the profound impact of our 2025 mission, the Caring for Kenya team is officially preparing for a return to the Kisii community in August 2027. Our mission is simple yet vital: to heal the body, nourish the spirit, and invest in the next generation of believers.

Medical Camp
We are establishing a health clinic to provide essential medical, dental, & vision services to families who often lack access. Every patient encounter is an opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel.

Children's Bible Day Camp
While the clinics are running, we will host a high-energy Day Camp for the local children—teaching them about God’s love through stories, songs, and play.

Caring for Kenya at Christmas
A massive thank you to everyone who donated to Caring for Kenya at Christmas. Together, we raised $2,500 to support the orphaned and the vulnerable in the Keera Seventh Day Baptist Church area. Your support means the world to us—and even more to the families in Kenya who will be impacted by your grace.
